INQUIRY LAUNCHED

Media Watch becomes the story:

The ABC has launched an inquiry into accusations that Media Watch relied on research supplied to it by an Islamic website that peddled anti-Semitic and jihadi messages ...

The ABC’s director of television Kim Dalton yesterday admitted that some of Media Watch’s tips came from “quite unsavoury” characters but refused to be drawn on some of the hate-filled and poisonous messages published by IslamicSydney.

Likely nothing will come of this, the ABC being what it is. Still, it’s fun to set ‘em chewing on themselves.

MV are also great fans of Richard Kerbaj who writes for The Australian on various Muslim related issues.

I think “lifts the lid” on them would be a better description.

What’s more concerning, via your link is the subsequent comment:

Though I guess this should be a bit of a warning to our members to be a bit more tactful when expressing opinions. You can’t stop the lowest of the low from browsing our forums, copying and pasting our posts and then using it to add fuel to the growing fire of Islamophobia… but you can stop making it so easy for them to do so.

Apparently, some of us are the “lowest of the low” and taking exception to relentless antisemitism and Jihadism, is “Islamophobia”.

Muslimvillage is a wonderful window into the “mainstream” Australian Muslim mindset. They are completely open, honest and up-front about their views, which are (by and large) ignored by the wider community and much of its culpable media. In other words, they say they say loudly and clearly that they wish to eliminate non-Muslims, but nobody is listening.

Sadly, based on the above quoted comment, even this ‘mainstream’ may be driven further underground and out of plain view.

‘Tis a shame to see so many people already duped, but what might be just as interesting is a post-doco opinion poll. In the Intelligence Squared debate held earlier this year, the skeptics (including Michael Chrichton) won on the night.

Just looked up the ABC webguide for tonight. After TGGWS they’ll be broadcasting an interview with director Durkin, then holding a panel discussion on the subject. Hatchet job? Apparently skeptics will also participate, but I’ll be surprised if the panel ain’t stacked. Anyone know who’s appearing? They give you the names, briefly, during their promo, but I’ve only caught it once and was talking with someone at the time. Robin Williams is there but I don’t know who else.

Ian Plimer is one of the smartest, most erudite and scientific sceptics in Australia.

Alan Jones talks to him regularly and the guy is far, far too smart to be included on any phoney panel discussion on the ABC. He would destroy Flannery, Williams et al in any debate. And the ABC knows it.

AANCC does think however that Australia should remain as a predominately European, nominally Christian country.  Europeans discovered, built and populated this country and nobody has presented a reason why it should not remain that way, it has nothing to with some stupid idea of some kind of supremacy.

what’s wrong with telling people to fight against injustice? if that’s an evil thing, then sorry the US shouldn’t have got involved in WWII when Hitler was invading every country in Europe.

we never advocate violence to oppress people or just because we feel like it.
violence should only be used as a last resort. and it should only be used against injustice.

Yes, ask Daniel Perl all about injustice, ask the 52 Londoners about injustice, ask the children of Beslan about injustice, ask the Jewish lad in France about injustice… oh you can’t, they are all dead because of Muslim vermin spreading their ‘justice’ - which is also perfectly fine, according to Keysar Trad:

Muslims when they were able to march forth against injustice made themselves available to combat injustice.

    Keysar likes Justice hisbollocks style:

Sunni Muslim leader and community spokesman Keysar Trad yesterday said his sect largely championed Sheik Mousselmani’s support for Hezbollah (Party of God), which was revealed by The Weekend Australian.

“Sunnis outside of Lebanon, yes, they still have a great deal of respect for Hezbollah,” he said.

But Mr Trad, who does not believe the Lebanese-based Hezbollah is a terrorist group, said Sunni Muslims in Lebanon were less inclined to back the terrorist organisation because of political differences with the Shi’ites.

  73. Speaking of another inquiry, this is great news:

    http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,288879,00.html

An investigating officer has recommended dismissing murder charges against a U.S. Marine accused in the slayings of three Iraqi men in a squad action that killed 24 civilians in the town of Haditha, according to a report. The government’s theory that Lance Cpl. Justin L. Sharratt had executed the three men was “incredible” and relied on contradictory statements by Iraqis, Lt. Col. Paul Ware said in the report, released Tuesday by Sharratt’s defense attorneys.

“To believe the government version of facts is to disregard clear and convincing evidence to the contrary, and sets a dangerous precedent that, in my opinion, may encourage others to bear false witness against Marines as a tactic to erode public support of the Marine Corps and mission in Iraq,” Ware wrote.

Well Mediocrity vision is in bed with jihadi baddies, I have always thought that Monica( who said that Lewinsky was the only Monica who sucks)and the other Bums at the sheltered workshop of media failures.  Sorry I forgot to mention 2UE and the Breakfast wind bags.  The analogy of a pitiful alcoholic drinking dry cleaning fluid for a tiny hit, is no different to these media dregs scratching for a story.

  80. MV: A Challenge To Penberthy And His Acolytes

Here’s your chance for some open debate- you have accused this website of being a Jihadi website now here’s your chance- put up or shut up.

You probably are to gutless to stand by your accusations on here and prefer to talk in tired cliches through the media.

Let’s see if Penberthy, Kerbaj, Akerman, McIlveen, Albrechtsen, Bolt, Devine and the rest of the haters can actually back up their words and accusations- come on here and debate, it’s easy to write one-sided opinion pieces in your paper without giving those you accuse a right of reply.

Here’s your chance to face the Jihadis on this website, if you refuse then it is obvious you are full of BS.

You quoted two posts to back up your claims that this is a Jihadist website, ignoring the fact that their are hundreds of thousands of other posts.

And hey if you find out we are all extremist terrorist jihadists then you can grab your fridge magnets and snitch to ASIO.

  81. 80# The MV Idiots challenge is no different to the Monty Python sketch of the limbless torso of the Black Knight, I say what are you going to do bleed on me! You are indeed a stupid Knight but the fight is ours and Sir Salman Rushdie has won again.  Good-night wankers.

  82. Doesn’t surprise.  The looney left quietly admires the terrorists for daring to do what they secretly want to do themselves.

While Islamists are blowing mind-washed petty capitalists to giblets in Bali and a hundred other places round the world, they are ‘interrogating’ texts, ‘subverting’ imperialist discourse and ‘deconstructing’ truth regimes. Funny how their language and their proud espousal of ‘peace’ are at odds.

There’s no deconstructive agent like an explosive filled with ball bearings, I guess.

  83. I’m still waiting for the top of A terrorist Islamic dumb dumb blows up a car in Scotland in their web topics..

It’s selective in it’s topic at MV. This is what they call media. Monica, this would be a good media W story. The ommitting of stories in MV.

This is the only topic today they have pinned Australian police have reportedly found no evidence to charge an Indian doctor who has been held without charge for 11 days on suspicion of connection to atttempted UK bomb attacks.

Nothing about the Scotish Airport bombings, I really wish they’d blow Australia up now. (In a sad way as it maybe necessary to wake the public up)

Translation: Look, people, it’s perfectly all right for us to be vicious, bigoted hate-mongers, but let’s try to keep the ranting on the q/t.  The infidels are starting to notice and call us on it.

  85. The idiots on MV are something else.

They are the children of Lebanese criminals who arrived in the late 70’s or those who are relative to them. If the laws in this country weren’t so alarmingly PC soft then we would have a serious chunk of them incarcerated and for a good period of time.

Sadly they are left to infest the spreading boil that is the uncontrolled leaching of extreme Muslim influence into our society.

I live less than a few kilometres from the Gold Coast Hospital where that flunky was working (I accept totally that he may yet be found not guilty of any charges) and I fear for what I feel is inevitable and that is a Muslim attack on this country in my own back yard.

When the bang happens in Australia I wouldn’t want to be a conspicuous Muslim nor a PC law maker. And if I was I would be declaring very clearly where I stood on this idiotic Muslim crap that is typical of what is presented on MV.

The thing most noticeable about these gutless muslim morons is that they operate in large gangs. Nary the muslim individual stepping out to declare his muslimism alone.

Their culture doesn’t encourage individualism but rather a carping obliging obsequiousness to a supposed greater calling that was the 800’s AD.
