HUMAN INFLUENCE THREATENS PLANET
Polar ice caps are melting ... on Mars:
The climate on Mars is showing a warming trend and recent images have shown the first evidence of seismic activity on Earth’s neighbor planet, scientists said today ...
[Michael Malin, principal investigator for the Mars Orbiter Camera] said images of Mars’ southern polar cap showed that scarps formed there are retreating at “a prodigious rate” of about 10 feet per Mars year.
Malin said scientists had no explanation yet as to why Mars might be warming.

We need to vewy vewy careful, and be on the look out for a strange looking character with an Illudium PU-36 Explosive Space Modulator.

Obviously Halliburton’s plans to drill for oil on Mars have already begun to have destructive effects on the environment there.
No no no, you see, Mars is in sympathetic agony for her sister planet, Earth. Either that, or the Martian environment knows that humans are going to get there eventually and wreck havoc and is starting to feel the effects ahead of time. Either way, its our fault!
