HOPE DASHED FOR LOCAL UNEMPLOYED MAN

Run a Google search for Mark Latham and a Fairfax job search promo appears on the right of screen:

Find the job Mark Latham is really made for

Hitting the link, however, reveals that Mark is out of luck:

Just as well he’s got that pension. In other Mark news, an autographed photo is going cheap on eBay—where you can also pick up a copy of an earlier Latham book. Bidding starts at 99 cents.

  1. Maybe he can audition for Australian Idol?

His first song could be Shaggy’s “It wasn’t me”.

  2. Tim I think your being unfair to Latham. I have read his book up to August 1999 and he seems a reasonable guy. Certainly hates what Labor has become and I think sympathetic to some Liberal policies ,i.e. devolution of power to Aboriginal communities as opposed to ATSIC controlling policy and money .
I don’t know why you are going so hard on him.
Is it his betrayal of the tribe?

  5. Look he just seems to read Labor as I do. Beyond redemption.
It is sick reading, sure, but is it Latham(compete with messianic tendancies)or the environment he is describing. Quentin I will keep on reading, no doubt. The Liberal critique so far seems unconvincing. It’s like he doesn’t really mean it. Howard not showering with the boys, huh? He can’t be serious. It seems he is hitting the Lib’s with a feather and dumping big time on the mates.  Maybe it will change later I don’t know.

  8. There is also “Great deals on Mark Latham” on eBay apparently.

I’m quite proud that my site leads the way on google these days for the search:

    latham fuckwit

Brings a tear to the old eye.

  9. Maybe he could audition for Chuckie in the Aussie version.  He’s got the temperament down pat.

  10. He’d make great shark chum… unfair to ask a shark to chew up something that mean on its own, a gross violation of professional courtesy…
