See in todays online Australian, Raphael Israeli, who is an expert on Islamic history at Jerusalem University, is quoted as saying; ‘We should limit the number of Muslim migrants coming to this country’. He went on to say, ‘that they had a reputation for manipulating the values of Western Countries, taking advantage of their hospitality and tolerance’.
The clincher for me was; ‘Greeks, Italians and Jews don’t use violence’.
See how long the ‘victim cult’, and Kayser Trad et el, let this little one ride. But of course I know ‘he was taken out of context’.

  34. O/T but Australias answer to Jimmeh! Carter strikes again.

From an ABC article, Malcom Fraser
    Here

One paragraph has so much fisking material its hard to even start.

“This forum will cover a wide spectrum in human rights. From the origins of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights itself to the class room, how to inspire students with ethical leadership, it will teach about privacy laws, it will talk about the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities and its implications for education, about disabled people and marginalised communities. It will talk about the human rights of children, of values education in teaching mathematics. It will ask the question how informed are we of the current situation? There will be a number of practical workshops where many issues will be explored in depth.”

To sum up victimology 101. I love the bit about “values teaching in mathematics”. Is that code for what you feel is right should be right?

Anyone catch the bleating on Today Tonight about Dr Israeli’s comments in the paper? The muslims whining again about being responsible for what you say of all things. *chortle*

Also as an interesting observation: female “reporter” standing in the streets of a Sydney suburb, talking into the camera. All the passersby were men. I did not see one woman there, although when they cut to the talking head shots they did have the token muslimah to tell us that she wished we would stop saying stuff like that.

Sure we will, sunshine. When you guys stop blowing up things and yourselves and other people, when you stop whingeing and start taking responsibility for your own beliefs and actions, too.

  43. MV is a perfect example of what the professor is talking about. The whole philosophy of MV is that Islam is an absolute truth and anything less than the rest of us adopting the “take it up the arse” position is offensive to allah. There is no middle ground, no accommodation of other beliefs - we must submit or die.

For the life of me I cannot understand why anyone would want to be a Muslim. Even God hates Islamists. Ever noticed that in the past few years natural disasters have struck hardest at those hotbeds of islamic funamentalism - Aceh, Kashmir and Bam in Iran. In kashmir, the earthquake killed 73,000 in Pakistan and 1400 in Hindu India. 90% of the 2004 tsunami 190,000 victims were Achean Muslims. If I were a Muslim, I’d be afraid, very afraid

According to florists, the demand for red roses is so high that prices leapt from five to 12 Saudi riyals in only a few days.  Al Watan newspaper reported that it was almost impossible to find red roses in cities across the kingdom. This growing demand came despite the fact that special anti-Valentine patrols have been organized by the religious police

I take entropy’s point in #45 about journalists shoving their cameras in people’s faces to capture the anguish.  On the other hand, it’s their job to report the news (although journalism schools seriously need some courses in empathy), and you can’t very well go around bashing people in the face because they’re acting like jackasses.  You’d be beating people up all the time.

Muslims, in face, would be constant victims, since they always seem to be acting like jackasses.
