  4. At last, cricket has adapted into a form that is more exciting than baseball, and so should draw big crowds to a competition in the US.
    Those US cheer girls are simply getting familiarised.
    As for H.Singh, the ICB have finally reacted to an insult to one of their own players strangely differentl;y to how they behaved over the insults to Andrew Symonds, inside and outside the fence.. Racism??

  6. I think expectations to see longer columns reflect unrealistic societal expectations for which the media is to blame. A short column is generally nothing to be ashamed of.

They should make more play of the auction stage of the tournament.  Contrast how dull and turgid say, the Brownlow Medal count is, with the IPL auction where team managers actually declare a dollar value as to how good they think each player is.  I predict the auction will soon outrank any of the awards night ceremonies of sport.
