“GIVE THE BAG TO THE JEW”

A war veteran, a gambling problem, a bomb threat, and a hot wife. The usual Australian court story.

  1. Let’s run ‘er up my flagpole and see if she salutes.

  2. Could happen to anyone, really.

  3. Actually, it could. There was a case here in the States where a pizza delivery man had a remote-controlled bomb strapped around his neck and was forced to rob a bank. He was desperately explaining this to the police when they surrounded him. Poor bastard blew up when they approached.

  4. I’m sorry for his PTSD.  But I reserve judgment on whether that really was the reason for this.  Seems too calculated by far, and it remains to be seen if the gambling habit was present before or after the war service.

Mainly, I feel sorry for his wife.

  5. Rebecca-

Mainly, I feel sorry for his wife.

Ya her taste in hats and hubbies-

    Wow she likes ‘em nutty!

  6. This could tie in with Harry Hutton’s latest killer Gonad Aussie fact-

“more Aussie men die of torqued testes than any other men…”

I think it’s time for you guys to stop wearing thongs…

  7. Banned from the Bowling Club and has to go to Woy Woy every day!
    Cruel and Unusual Punishment.

  8. Mr Cocks granted bail but banned Buck, who entered no plea, from Umina Bowling Club and ordered him to report to Woy Woy police station daily.

    Sentence of the year?

  9. That’s a pretty crappy looking salute.
I think the reporter got it wrong. She was actually communicating to her husband how much chance he has of getting dumped for the limo driver (who she has the hots for and whose hat she is wearing).

  10. But why the reference to

    the jew

? Was he trying to reverse the usual Palestine bomber situation in Israel? If he’d called himself a jihad martyr or something he might have been more successful. Bizarre.

  11. Outside the court, David Buck’s wife Michelle put on a captain’s hat and saluted her husband as he got into their car. Captain of what? It looks like the Argentine navy or something. Sure as hell isn’t ADF.

  12. Habib, I was thinking the same thing. The ‘salute’ isn’t ADF either (looks like one of those weird Yank ones, although done badly).
My best guess on the hat is that she souvenir’d it from a stripper at the last hens night she went to.

  13. Actually it looks like a Qantas 1st officer’s chapeau. Certainly isn’t military, unless it’s from a latino source, and hasn’t got enough fruit salad/scrambled egg for that, and the peak is too low for it to be a commie cap.

  14. Dave S., they didn’t approach the delivery man they waited till he blew up. Cowards.
