“Keep your foot hard on the accelerator!” yelled my instructor during a rally-driving course a few years ago; he’d detected a cowardly pre-apex lift in a third-gear sweeper. Things are taken a step further among the Insurgent Iraqi community:
Iraqi insurgents appear to be forcing some followers to commit suicide car bombings by tying or binding them inside explosive-carrying vehicles, the commanding general of allied security forces in Baghdad said Wednesday.
“In one case, Iraqi police found pieces of a car after it exploded which included an accelerator pedal that had the suicide bomber’s foot still taped to it, so that you can’t chicken out and leave,” Maj. Gen. William G. Webster told reporters in a video conference from Baghdad.
That’s one way of curing timid feet. I prefer my instructor’s verbal method.
Although somewhat off-topic, I have a question.
Something that seems to be lost in the kerfuffle over the World Trade Center Memorial/Museum of American Human Rights Violations: isn’t the WTC site now a Muslim Holy Place, since 10 exceptionally devout Believers became martyrs there? Wouldn’t the building of anything other than a Mosque be an insult to all Muslims?
Culturally sensitive minds want to know…

It has been revealed previously in Israel that not all suicide bombers were committed to suicide. Botched bombing attempts resulted in the would-be martyr confessing to Israeli police that they had been conned, presumably as a payback or to ensure they wouldn’t get away and subsequently reveal their seniors.
One example was a man who was told to place a bag containing explosives, press the button and get away within twenty seconds. There was actually no delay at all however luckily (for him as well it seems) only the detonator blew. He was so pissed off he ratted several of them out after he awoke in an Israeli hospital and eventually realized he wasn’t in fact in heaven.
Equally, some sucide bombers were already suicidal (owed money) etc. and that taking out a whole bunch of civilians was a considered a better way to get around it than simply hanging oneself.
The fact some bombers aren’t quite as ‘motivated’ as the Western media would suggest comes as no surprise.

Apart from this being yet another illustration of the lengths our National Shitcaster will go to in undermining us all, it entirely avoids observation of the incredible manipulation of people for terrorist purposes which are the topic of this thread.
The use of mentally deficient people is their stock in trade. That’s the terrorists. Or should that be the ABC as well, given their determination to bring about a new world order wherein neither they nor the rest of us will be free to do anything?
