  7. It will be easy enough to discover whether they are Canadian or American white pelicans: if they want the government to take care of them, they are definitely the Canadian species (hoser pelicanasis). Viz.

  10. I don’t mind pelicans coming to Canada,it’s the flightless bird brains that bother me.We have enough of them here as it is.
    Pelicans in Manitoba? thats like polar bears in Florida.

  11. It’s funny how none of these birds are trying to fly to Mexico. I guess the thought of rubbing feathers with the local brown pelicans is just too much for them.

  13. Pelican politico’s, no doubt.  Fleeing to another jurisdiction now that they’ve finished feathering their nests.  The whole thing smells fishy to me.
