DICTATORSHIPS: THEY’RE GOOD FOR THE PLANET!

The perfect leftoid rejoinder to that famous image of unilluminated North Korea:

Well, at least the North Koreans are not contributing to the greenhouse effect.

  1. What about the nuclear power they were developing for “domestic use”?  Seems like they would have that hooked up to their grid by now.  Mr. Carter?  Ms. Albright?

Yet more vindication for those of us who maintain the Left’s ultimate goal is for us to commit mass suicide.  Well, except for the (self) chosen elite of course.

  2. Hmmm.

    What about the wood-powered trucks??

Yes.  The North Koreans have trucks that are powered by wood.  They actually use some of the cargo capacity to carry wood logs.  And they actuall have a burner in the cargo area where a guy shoves wood into the burner on a regular basis.

It’s pretty strange in the Land of North Koreans.

  3. Perfect leftoid rejoinder:

“Well, at least the North Koreans are not contributing to the greenhouse effect.”

    Perfect normal person rejoinder-rejoinder:

“Then why don’t you help out by moving to North Korea.”

There is a special corner in Hell for people who say things this stupid.

  6. Look at it this way - Hell’s the perfect place to worry about global warming and greenhouse gases.

  7. The USA with its irresponsibly burgeoning population, could learn from North Korea’s example, by allowing more of its overfed citizens to take up eating leaves and grass, and eventually starve to death; or else chop them up and sell the spare parts. North Korea sets an example in population control that should (and no doubt will) be commended by the UN. Kim could even win a Nobel Prize for this.

  8. Well, at least the North Koreans are not contributing to the greenhouse effect.

In fact North Koreans don’t even know what a greenhouse is
Many eat the bark off trees before they just lie down and die.

  9. Just wait until the post-Kim era, when it is discovered that it was all a hoax, with lots of TNT sending shock waves and carefully positioned radioactive dust out to fool the world.
The leftoids will say we destroyed the noble NorkNation based on a lie! There were no WMD. It was a land of plenty, where children and adults both skipped through verdant pastures and played with balloons, and colourful kites - and a few missiles.
It will be our fault that during the collapse of the regime much damage was done by an army out of control. Our fault for upsetting the fine balance of nature.
Then it will be back to business as usual, saying that the callous west supports dictators.

  10. The left should think about moving there…

All organic since they can’t afford the chems for their non-foodstuffs.
And no ADM genetic grain for them!
Sectarian heaven on earth for the left.

  11. #9 Good point, blogstrop.  The Weekly Stabdard has an article saying it may have been only the first ‘trigger’ step towards a Hydrogen Bomb, not the conventional A-bomb route.

Meanwhile Rowan Callick in The Australian:
China will do what it must to uphold the sanctions to which it has signed up, but no more. It has yet to forge an internal consensus around which leading cadres, soldiers, diplomats and academics can unite.

Note how China makes its decisions - exactly how any fascist state does - without the media or any parliament.

But where is the Left’s condemnation of Fascist China?
Instead, they direct all their venom at the West’s elected governments and praise our collections of pliant media and soldiers, diplomats and academics.

Who knows, maybe Islam the dumb dumb religon can send it’s peoples to Korea and feel really at home with the communist style ideology. Migrants would love it, so much to pick on over there.

  14. At least there’s no discrimination over there, race riots or burqas in Korea sounds good. blinks looks up like a brady bunch

  15. The reason there are no burqas in North Korea is that the fabric is far too nutritious to be used as clothing.

  16. The NorKs only contribution to the world recently has been trouble, and to their own population - misery. But leftoids, being incurably stupid, will try to argue some piece of shit point like greenhouse benefit. Perhaps mass graves are a form of composting.
