CRETINS DEFIED

The Yobbo gets off some nice lines in an SMH blog item:

Sam Ward from A Yobbo’s View says he doesn’t consider legal issues when he blogs.

The legal threats Ward has received “usually come from cretins who can’t even spell lawyer”.

He would only remove content if he felt he was in the wrong, he says.

“If it was just some self-important loser trying to bully me around, I’d have my day in court.”

Of course, some cretins can’t even spell cretin.

  1. I read Yobbo’s View for the articles, honest!

  2. Yeah well. Probably the biggest legal issue my blog faces is from the copyright owners of all those photos, whoever they may actually be.

  3. Self-important loser?  Dammit, Yobbo, leave Margo out of this!

  4. Maybe they’re just Angry Left Scientologists who have confused cretin with Thetan.

  5. Hey, did you guys know that there are pictures of attractive women on that Yobbo site?

Because I didn’t know there were. Pictures, I mean. On the site.

  6. “If it was just some self-important loser trying to bully me around, I’d have my day in court.”

Speaking of bullying, Tex is still awaiting news of Thom Lyons’ scary lawyers.

Yeah, I know I already linked it on the next thread, but it’s much more appropriate here.

  7. They didn’t run my reply- perhaps they thought it defamatory when I said any shit-sucking bottom-feeder who tries to sue me had better have a bottomless bank account and kevlar kneecaps.
