  1. The Fraser Frieghter ranks right up there with the Barbarella Bus when it comes to the absurd actions the left are capable of. No wonder they stay in opposition.

  6. Tim:

    I really enjoyed your column.

For the next US election in 2006, do you think you could persuade Get-Up! to send letters to American voters telling them how to vote? And then maybe in the next Aussie election, Get-Up! could presuade its counterpart in the US—MoveOn.org—to send letters to Aussie voters telling them how to vote.

In 2004, it worked so well when the UK Guardian took you up on your suggestion and encouraged concerned Oxford dons and other Brits to write heartfelt letters against Bush to Ohio voters.

Perhaps you could export this kind of success to future elections and import it into your home country.

    Cheers,

  7. James, you obviously haven’t read Mark Steyn On Line.  null

Moveon.org and the democrats didn’t fail…it was a case of deferred success.  So ipso facto, inter alia, ergo and therefore they really did make a difference. It’s just that their success has been deferred for another four years, or may be eight,or sixteen….

  8. Aren’t the sharks endangered already?  Casting soured meat to them could be environmentally unsound.
