CHILDREN BORN
So much for Mike Moore’s theories on the inferiority of US health care:
A Canadian woman has given birth to extremely rare identical quadruplets.
The four girls were born at a US hospital because there was no space available at Canadian neonatal intensive care units.
(Via Alan R.M. Jones)
Even worse, Tim. The space in the US was available in a U.S. backwoods town of 50,000 and not in Canada’s second richest province in a city of about 1,000,000 people.

There’s better medical service capabilities in Great Falls, MT, than in all of Canada!
Actually, I shouldn’t laugh…...that’s downright pathetic. Especially for the Canadians who need that medical service.
‘Tis time to exile some Canadian bureaucrats to the Yukon, or maybe Cuba, methinks.

Probably not, it’s just available. Socialized health care is rationed health care.

They usually do go to Cuba, Jeff_S, every friggin’ winter on holiday.

It’s not only because of the natural beauty that he has a second home in New Hampshire. As he has written, if he and his family are living in Quebec and they need medical attention, they travel to their NH home to get it.
