CANDIDATES REJECTED
You’d think British police—currently battling a murder epidemic—would sign on as many new members as they could. Apparently not:
A police force that rejected 108 potential recruits because they were white men has admitted positive discrimination and agreed to pay compensation.
Gloucestershire Constabulary said that it had been trying to increase diversity with its policy of selecting women and candidates from ethnic minorities.
Via Rodolfo. Also from the UK:
Police have agreed to consult a panel of Muslim leaders before mounting counter-terrorist raids or arrests. Members of the panel will offer their assessment of whether information police have on a suspect is too flimsy and will also consider the consequences on community relations of a raid.
I wonder how useful that panel would have been in this case:
A driver spent two nights in jail after being accused of “revving his car in a racist manner”.
Only in Britain..
An off duty Chief Inspector from Wales, charges a “racist” car driver in Scotland for revving at a Libyan Scottish University student via his Italian vehicle-and he is charged by a Sheriff Cubie.
It only remains for us to be told what a fiscal is?
Incidentally,ABC’s “TENS of thousands anti war marchers in U.K.” revised by next day to thirty thousand, revised by commercial channel now to twenty thousand…and led by the good Cherry Blair’s sister…Yep, they’ve surrendered alright:
The council cemetery where Christians are given Muslim graves
A new cemetery is to have all its graves aligned with Mecca - making it the first council graveyard in the country to bury the dead in Islamic tradition, regardless of their religion.
...
But the move has upset the Church and led to complaints that the policy discriminates against the city’s majority Christian population. The traditional direction of burial for Christians is facing east.

Translation: We will coordinate our defense with representatives of our enemy to ensure our enemy does not suffer harm or discomfort from our defensive efforts against this enemy.
Translation: We are idiots. We are morons. We are cowards. We are unfit to survive. We fail the darwinian test in every catagory.
Any attempt to coordinate or share intel with the UK should now be considered an act of treason since they publicly proclaim their intention of sharing any intel with the enemy.
I thought exactly the same thing as C.L. and Grimmy: the police will never again capture any terrorists of note. The concept of “need to know”—if it is to work properly—does not include political or religious reasons.

Would that you were right, but there’s the whole pattern of behavior to consider.Equivocation is the frist step along the road to capitulation and the UK has been quivering with equivocation since the beginng.
Less anyone mistake me for a hypocrite, I do acknowledge that we in the US aint a whole hella lot better at standing up either.
will also consider the consequences on community relations of a raid.
Holy Mohammed Batman! So if pre-emptively stopping mass-murdering terrorists would offend the muslim population, the cops will just sit back and do nothing, instead. That’s comforting.
Fortuntately, Muslims are famously thick-skinned and slow to take offense.

Oddly enough the police seem rather blase about relations with the white male community, or at least Gloucestershire Police do. It astounds me that having been found out explicitly discriminating against candidates on racial ground the perpetrators don’t get prosecuted, sacked or even disciplined.
Hana Saad, 23, said he had degraded them
I always feel so degraded when someone revs a Lotus at me. I only have a Honda. The shame. The shame.

Oddly, a key element of multiculturalism is the belief that white males are able to take care of themselves, while everyone else needs help to even get a start.
Why, no, they don’t realize that’s a racist position.

Actually, a cornerstone to the multiculti mindset is that white males should be punished for all the grievances of mankind, real or imagined.
This is just a subjective impression on my part, but does anyone know what the current rate of EMIgration from the UK is? Just based on folks I know, I get the sense it’s rising…

Perhaps England will learn something from the death of Europe…in time to save itself. Unlike France, England sometimes reacts to recognized threats in time. We’ll see.
Europe is the canary in the mineshaft. We watch them die and try not to make the same mistakes.
