BUS ATTACK WAS ‘SUICIDE BOMBER’

According to this report:

An eye witness who saw the explosion on the bus outside the British Medical Association building in Tavistock Place says the explosion took place on the top deck of the bus, blowing the top of the bus straight up in the air. The Metropolitan Police at Scotland Yard say they believe the explosion on the bus was caused by a suicide bomber. If that is confirmed, it will be the first time a suicide bomber has struck in Britain. A statement says explosive material has been found at at least one location.

Meanwhile a rescue operation is underway at Kings Cross station, where people are still trapped.

UPDATE:

There are also unconfirmed reports that a suicide bomber was killed by the police at Canary Wharf this morning.

UPDATE III. Coverage direct from London by Andrew Ian Dodge.

UPDATE IV. Indymedia UK thinks it’s an inside job. Some people view Indymedia as the enemy, and they might be, if they weren’t so completely stupid.

UPDATE V. Dr Waleed Kadous emails:

The Australian Muslim Civil Rights Advocacy Network (AMCRAN) joins other civil rights and Muslim organisations in condemning the apparent acts of terrorism in London.

“Such attacks are barbaric and totally inconsistent with any kind of civil tradition, whether it be secular or religious,” AMCRAN co-convenor Dr Waleed Kadous, said. “Such disrespect for life is a symbol of barbarity.”

“Regardless of who committed these acts, we unequivocally and unambigiously condemn these attacks.”

“We would like to express our condolences to the people of London, and let them know that we stand with them, and that we will support them in the pursuit of those involved in these criminal acts and their punishment under the law.”

“Thousands of Suspected Muslim Radicals Lynched in Britain & Rest to Be Deported.”

And the next one: “John Howard Says Australia to Follow Suit”

Ah…may these sweet dreams come true…

  4. Red Ken has finally emerged, and managed to turn this horror into a statement on multiculturalism:-
“Innocent people going from all of London’s communities have been targeted by this indiscriminate attack. I urge Londoners from all of this city’s diverse communities and faiths to support one another and stand together against terrorism.”
Bullshit- the attacks were targetted on tourists and middle class city workers; I didn’t notice too many blasts in Wapping, Tower Hamlets or Brixton.

  5. Rule, Britannia! Britannia, rule the waves:
    Britons never will be slaves.

The nations not so blest as thee,
    Shall in their turns to tyrants fall;
While thou shalt flourish great and free,
The dread and envy of them all.

Thee haughty tyrants ne’er shall tame,
All their attempts to bend thee down
    Will but arouse thy generous flame;
But work their woe, and thy renown.

    GREAT Britain.

  7. BTW- I’d say parts of Bethnal Green, Birmingham and Manchester would be pretty chuffed about this outrage; keep an eye on this site- be interesting to see what Gorgeous George has to say about this little effort by his Islamofascist chums.

Supreme idiot Tony Jones on ABC Lateline just came out with “so-called war on terrorism”; I suppose there were only so-called bombs, resulting in so-called dead and wounded civilians.

    What a fucktard.

  19. Sorry, Pixy, if my comment, which I confess was only partially a joke, seemed too harsh.

I have several good friends in London - not that this should really be the determining factor, as I sympathise with anyone affected by terrorism, anywhere.

I guess probably like many otherwise “normal” people, I am getting to the stage where I am starting to think this kind of extreme treatment is the only one these stinking bastards understand.

If that sounds uncivilized, then so be it - I am guilty as charged. Sometimes when you deal with refuse, you have to be prepared your hands may stink from it by the time you have finished.

  25. I was just about to go to work (I had a 10 am meeting) when the Underground was stopped.  I don’t know why terrorists think they will change anything by this - London didn’t surrender to the Luftwaffe and New York didn’t after 9/11 and this is a pinprick by comparison.

But then they may have changed things in Spain of course.

  26. I imagine terrorists would be pleased to divide muslim and non-muslim elements in the British population.  Whether they are successful in doing so will depend largely on the response of the islamic community leaders.  Any hint of ambiguity in this response will not be forgiven.

Brian Walters in typical leftist apologetics cannot help but refer to nascent terrorists as “vulnerable” http://webdiary.smh.com.au/archives/margo_kingston/001251.html

One particularly insightful chap Roger Fedyk idiotically thinks the problem should be addressed as follows “There must be a negotiated settlement that truly addresses the underlying problems that fuels the grassroots support that these killers have.” Thats right Roger, lets agree to live under sharia law and we should all be happy

As usual, there is no compassion at all for the victims of terrorism.

The underlying problem is that they are fed on hatred all their lives and kept down trodden (by their religious guides, mullahs), and unable to make their own decisions.

I am angry about events in London.
    Angry and impotent.

Hunt them down, try them, then eliminate them.

Find out where they are from and turn these places to glass.

Er, that makes me as bad as them, doesn’t it?

I am sure that peaceful Muslims exists though we hear very little from them. However, since it is evident to anyone that there exists an enormous amount of fanatical Muslims around the world, words like those above are totally untrue; there is a tradition for killing so-called infidels in many countries and that tradition is being preached also in western countries (US, UK, Holland ...).
