ADJUST OR BE ADJUSTED

Flemming Rose, publisher of the Motoons o’ Doom, identifies a crucial European moment:

It’s time for the Old Continent to face facts and make some profound changes in its outlook on immigration, integration and the coming Muslim demographic surge. After decades of appeasement and political correctness, combined with growing fear of a radical minority prepared to commit serious violence, Europe’s moment of truth is here.

As defined by Kofi Annan: Europe “has recently acquired a significant Muslim population, and is not yet sure how to adjust to it.”

  1. So western civilisation has to adjust to Islam according to the Koffster- just like an organ has to adjust to lymphoma I suppose.

No question of the adherents of the ROP doing a little adjusting themselves, hmmmm?

  2. We’ve got to keep pushing the one thing that might save Europeam civilization - big tax breaks, child endowment or other financial incentives for big European families.

  3. Kofi how about ‘the significant Muslim population isn’t sure how to adjust/doesn’t want to adjust to European civilisation’.

So we’ve got to go back a couple hundred years in social evolution to ‘adjust’ to our new friends.

  4. Susan, those options work for all segments of the population, of course, and provide more incentive for some than others…..

  5. Oh well, the sanctimonious europeans actions of the last 50 years are coming home to roost i suppose….  they thought they were so superior with their socialist, egalitarian ramblings, now lets see how they enjoy the rancid fruits of it….

and trust Kofi to see the problem back to front…  from a distance he doesn’t seem like such a bad old bloke, but i just don’t think he is up to the task of running the U.N. personally….

  6. #4. You imply it would also encourage bigger Mohammetan families. There are two answers:

    1) Mohammetans who would welcome tax breaks are people earning and paying income tax anyway. It is likely, therefore, that they are valuable and productive citizens. No big problem there.

At the bottom line, if larger families not made financially attractive for Europeans, it’s all up. End of story.

    2) Make child endowment etc. frankly discriminatory. ONLY for people of European culture. There would be screams from the left about this, but nobody would actually do anything about it. States are soverign and can make whatever laws they like.

There are other measures to go with this - social security benefits ONLY for citizens, including naturalised immigrants who as a condition of citizenship have sworn they are of good character. Any criminal offences, their citizenship is revoked.

  7. regrettably, they’ll keep up their present policy of placing dangerous amounts of power in the hands of unelected bureacrats while taxing the crap out of their own people to fund the muslim colonisation of Europe.

At the tend, they will be left (in far too many cases) with the choices of surrender, or that old Euro-fave, genocide with a civil war twist.

Hobson’s choice. So see Europe now, while it is still there

  9. Unfortunately Susan I think that any social initiatives undertaken now will be like sticking a bandaid on top of a malignant carcinoma.  As Cassanova pointed out, Europe’s problem is a philosophical one. In their eagerness to forget God and to atone for the percieved evils of colonialism they also denied the superiority of western culture.  An amazing feat of self deception when you think about it.

The only question that remains is whether or not the US and Australia will be bothered going over there again in 20 years time to bail them out.

  10. “appeasement” Hmmm… didn’t the Europeans try that on Nazi Germany in WW2- worked wonders for them!!! This time however- I think the Europeans will be the ones “invading” America (after their homelands get swamped by the Muslims).

  11. ... like sticking a bandaid on top of a malignant carcinoma.

And by goodness, first they’re going to spend five years to debate the proper colour of the bandaid and to make sure no designated victim groups were disadvantaged in the making of the bandaid.

Myth being shattered here in Germany right now: “Grand coalitions with huge majorities in both chambers of parliament have a much better chance of pushing through needed reforms.” Nonsense, the deadlock is as bad as it ever was, and watered-down reforms are gonna be just as useless as no reforms. Yes, I’m in a foul mood about domestic politics right now. But hey, at least everybody’s going to be temporarily zombiefied by the World Cup now, so the earliest that anybody will be concerned about the lack of actual reforms again will be October or so.

    Dhimmis.
Snivelling and apologising to those they formerly welcomed into their society. Pay their taxes, support the immigrant bludgers forever, surrender their culture to barbarians who believe all knowledge ceased in the 13th century.

    Good luck. Don’t come here.

The answer to that is no.  By the time the Islamists get through turning Europe into another Muslim sinkhole, there won’t be anything worth bailing out.

  20. I saw one commentartor say this about Annan’s article—why instead does the Third World not try to attract immigrants from the First World?  Wouldn’t that also solve some problems?  Why is it just the First World that has to accept immigrants?

If you mean the 2 legged kind - The Aussies have forbidden killing toads unless it’s in a humane manner.  Colling in a frig is suggested - that ought to make mum happy!  Sensible things like toad golf are denied.  From happy memories of being an 8 year old, a few boys with BB guns and a flashlight would make short work of them.  Course kids can’t have BB guns in Australia, or sling shots for that matter.

Using what for bait?  What’s attractive about these places in ways that would attract immigration?  Most of them can’t even attract tourism.

  25. The demographic mathmatics indicate that many areas of Europe will be majority muslim sometime in the next 20-40 years.
However, there may be a radical alternative if the Europeans have the guts to embrace it .....mass immigration from Latin America, these people are fiercely Christian,  have large families, a strong work ethic and can kick the arses of young muslim gangs much better then local euroweenies.

  26. #23- minimal taxes, minimal intrusion etc. They would have to guarantee property title and security, and I’d blow this over-governed, over-taxed hippy-infested popstand tomorrow.

It’s always a punt moving to the third world, but it has a lot of benefits- a middle income here is a high income there, and you can provide employment to a lot of locals who actually want to work.

I’m looking at buying property in Malaysia (Penang, where the Chinese run the place, not Islamic Malays) and Thailand; I’d even consider Vietnam if the above conditions can be met. The more of us who do so the better- it cuts the tax base here and forces the Aust government to finally tighten its belt (and shed some of the bloated parasites who’ve feasted on the system of patronage for years) and injects much needed capital and expertise into economies who want to expand, not pander to greens, welfare activists, bureaucrats and assorted other boohoos.

    Win/win in my book.

  27. Better watch out Habib.  If the Malays decide they need to put in Sharia they won’t exempt towns run by the Chinese.  If the latter are lucky they won’t suffer a pogrom like the Chinese in Indonesia did in 1965.  If they are not lucky it’s Ming-ling bar the door.

  30. #29 what do you prefer “pleasantness, stability, predictability etc etc..” or truth.  Western Europe is only beginging to pay the price of the choice they made, and it definitely wasn’t the latter.

A bit of advice: read the Koran, study Islamic history and read some western philosophy and your tendency to embarass yourself with silly arguments will decrease dramatically
