ADVICE FROM THE UNPOPULAR
The New York Times detects a problem for John McCain:
The problem, though, is that embracing Mr. Bush — whose average approval ratings hover around 32% — is likely to seriously damage Mr. McCain with the rest of the electorate.
They ought to know. The NYT’s approval ratings hover around 24 per cent. The paper’s embrace of Al Gore and John Kerry seriously damaged those candidates with the rest of the electorate.
